That’s what’s impressive about Minesweeper. It’s ultimately a pretty challenging puzzle game that becomes borderline absurd at high-difficulty settings, but I’m just amazed that Microsoft was bold enough to make such a confusing, complicated, and difficult game one of the most recognizable early Windows experiences https://replaysofthestorm.com/.
Yeah, it wouldn’t be long before we started getting into the unfairly hard games, and “Silver Surfer” was one of the worst. A side-scrolling shooter starring Galactus’s servant sounds decent, but in reality, it’s one of the most frustrating experiences we’ve ever endured. Literally ANYTHING in this game can kill you in one hit from enemy projectiles and even walls! One touch equals game over! Needless to say, the game was far too brutal, and we soon found ourselves kneeling over just like the Surfer. We can only imagine how many tantrums were thrown by younger players.
You’ll have to learn the mechanics, understand your invincibility frames while rolling, and probably look up some info on builds – but if you put in the hours, you’ll clear this game and feel immensely rewarded. You might even become a Souls fan.
